I didn’t expect for you to pop back up on my radar, but your message is enough to make me sit up from my nap at my desk at home. Hey, successful authors sometimes are allowed mid-day naps like everyone else, especially those who are dealing with a case of writer’s block Aka yours truly.

“Hey Lionel. Look I know it’s been some time since we last spoke or saw each other, but I could really use your help. Things for me have… shit, how can I even put this into words? Listen, do you remember that study I took part in? Do you happen to remember the name of the company that was involved with it?”

I don’t exactly know the full details of where this is going and the exact territories, but I can already feel the strong urge to respond to your DM with an “I told you so…”. But I know that it has to stem from one very particular point in time when we didn’t know any better and the concept of consequential thinking meant nothing to a pair of broke college students.

We didn’t always make the best decisions.

Back then, we spent quite a bit of time trying to put some extra cash into our pockets and bank accounts as well as chasing after females.. Having both been raised in low-economic backgrounds, we were determined to do what we could to not have to know that hardship ever again as long as we weren't breaking any laws in the process. Still that doesn’t mean we didn’t have our share of dumb shit we got into all in the name of chasing the almighty dollar.

Again, we didn’t always make the best decisions.

Then came that flier. Now, it’s no secret that some agencies and organizations will turn to hiring impressionable college students for when they need bodies for something. So when you brought me that flier you received that stated some nearby medical clinic was looking for candidates for a year-long study of a new drug complete with pay, we both jumped at the opportunity. It was for some new male enhancement and fertility drug, one that ironically never saw the light of day on the shelves at any store now that I think about it. We called the number on the flier and set up an appointment to go meet with the medical team running the trial run.

And I was denied. There was only one spot left and despite the two of us being a similar build like every other guy who was in there, you was picked to be the last candidate.

Soon you were bringing in a big paycheck every month for a whole year while starting to looking more and more like some shredded underwear model.

The physique change we both chalked up as a harmless side effect. I didn’t think anything of it though I was jealous at the time of the money and the ladies you were pulling in.

After college, we kept in touch for a handful of years before life took us down different paths.

“I remember the study, but I can’t recall the name of the company. Why? What’s the matter?”

I see that you read my message and then a few minutes later, I receive your response.

“That drug they were testing on us is to blame for all of this. It’s messing me up. It’s been going on for two years now. I don’t look the same and I don’t think the same and people around me…well, there are some other side effects also I’d rather not get into. Every doctor I’ve gone to has said it’s an aggressive hormonal imbalance but my blood work keeps turning up fine. I-I don’t know what to do. It’s ruined me, Lionel.”

I’m intrigued now. My fascination to see you is of morbid curiosity, almost as if that jealous 22-year old me has been resurrected 15 years after the fact. But there is something else that is brewing within me. Uncertainty. I’m not aware of what I’m about to get myself into yet it is curiosity of the unknown that both fascinates and frightens humanity. And I am in need of some inspiration for my next book.

I look at my phone, then text back.

Hello out there, folks. Thanks for taking the time to read this latest creation of mine. I have been wanting to do something that blends a bit of medical thriller, sci-fi, erotica, some wholesomeness and some body horror for some time now. I had this in mind as a special prompt for a particular RP partner until they suddenly stopped responding. Now, I’m making it available to anyone and everyone.

The gist of this prompt is how two old friends reunite over the dilemma one of them is facing as the side effects of an experimental drug taken years ago is now rearing its head after a long dormancy. What can you do when your own body is undergoing a process that you have no control over that can also have long-lasting ramifications not just for you but potentially for those around you? Feminization as well as body modification and gender transformation will be central to this. The transformation(s) will all be human-to-human, but the changes come with a caveat as the character doesn't stop changing and undergoes multiple transformations that are out of their own control.

Yeah, I got some ideas to make this different from the standard transformation romp.
