This post is a bit of a deviation from the standard RPs here on DPP.
I'm looking for folks here who are interested in just writing to one another as themselves. To have a genuine exchange with another perverse stranger on the internet about sex or whatever taboo flavor of the day may be. While RPs satisfy that carnal itch, I often find myself seeking a deeper, more meaningful connection. Anyways, this is getting a bit meta and there are a lot of criteria to satisfy the moderators.
So here's my thought of the day: I often wonder why other people really enjoy the concept of non-con. The concept (consenting to being treated sexually in otherwise socially unacceptable ways) is an interesting one because it speaks to, in my mind, a couple of baseline psychological preferences. A desire to relinquish control to another human being, the need to feel psychological safety, and a sense of pleasure from being subjected someone else's baseline carnal desires (in this case, aggressive and sometimes violent ones). In normal circumstances, these inclinations are often at odds with one another. In other words, you normally can't let other people impose themselves on you without compromising your psychological safety. This is why non-con is interesting to me.Essentially we've artificially created a social construct which allows us to satisfy opposing desires without the risk of social, or legal, blowback. Sanctioned violence and perverse behavior at the hands of someone deeply trust. A mechanism by which a respectful human being may put on a violent facade in the name of sexual satisfaction. A more interesting question is whether the "respectful human" is the actual facade? For the record, I've engaged in a number of opportunities to explore non-con. With the right partner, its unpredictably fun. Not sure what that says about me as a person, I'm curious to hear the perspectives of others.
Anyways, I hope this meets post criteria because I look forward to many interesting conversations with you all
