It’s really been 20 years? I think to myself as I’m brushing my teeth looking in the mirror. I stare back at the face in the mirror with disbelief. So many big plans, so much momentum and right now it feels as if I’m stuck in neutral.

I deleted all of social media 5 years ago. Not many people know what I’ve been up to. I couldn’t take seeing all the fake happy couples posting about their perfect lives. My life was far from it, the daily marital problems and the challenges life throws at us everyday. I don’t need to see Bobby and Briana in Florida drinking at 11am while I’m working. My wife and I try hard everyday to keep the relationship working. It’s challenging but we fight to keep it alive. One of the problems is our schedules. Tonight for instance, she’s at a work function. I’m flying solo, besides meeting up with Joey bag o donuts at the local tavern before.

Tonight will be good, tonight will be fun. You deserve this, works been killing you lately and you deserve to have a fun night out I think to myself as I get dressed. I put on my favorite blue button down, white pants and brown shoes. I comb my hair over, make sure my brown beard is lined up accordingly and spritz on some cologne. At 6’3, 225 I’m still a large presence. Might not be as broad as I was when playing football for the school but still in relatively good shape for approaching 40.

I’m excited to to see so many people i haven’t in years. I have no clue what anybody’s been up to. We finish up our drinks at the tavern and walk in to the school. The gym still has the same smell. I take a deep breath, put on my name tag and walk in..

Good evening my beauties! I feel like this can hit home with a lot of people. We were all in high school once, we all had grand plans and now we’re in our 30s/40s/50s and kind of wondering what happened. I feel like the realism can make this RP really come to life if you find yourself coming on here needing an escape from the daily grind.
