Good morning you little lush! I hope you had a great weekend and I’m here to keep your mind off of the fact it’s only Tuesday. We’re Midway through summer and I KNOW I’m not the only one who feels like every weekend is going here or doing that! You want to just relax but you forgot about this party or that commitment. If you’re like me, most of the of the engagements you attend are mundane and draining. I love realism and like to base my prompts off real life experiences so if you can relate to going to a party you don’t really know anyone and don’t want to be, standing in the backyard sweating and making more trips to the cooler you can count, we will get along famously! I am down to build a story together as I want you to picture a time that relates to my prompt and be like this guy gets it!! I will write a little something to give you an idea of my writing style.

July 4th is a distant memory at this point as the weekends pass and the calendars are constantly full. I work all week, I take care of the house, I cook and clean and all I want to do is relax. When I hear you say “don’t forget about my cousins engagement party Saturday!” I feel like my soul dies inside. I don’t know your dad’s side, we’ve have limited interactions as you chose to live with your mom after the divorce. Saturday comes, it’s blistering hot, and I’m standing in a backyard smacking my legs standing in uncut grass looking like a weirdo in the corner. Isn’t family functions great I think to myself! The only thing that can make this night worth it is if I get laid but judging from the third Jell-O shot my wife is currently sucking down I will be on the ole reliable hub tonight! Then I see you, and my night suddenly changes..
