This prompt is loosely based in the concepts shown in first season of the TV adaptation of Altered Carbon.

I am talking A.I. Personas, Stacks, Sleeves, Synths, and all the body swapping fun! The show had its fair share of nudity and naughtiness, but I think they could’ve done so much more!

I am looking for a semi-literate and descriptive partner to discuss, brainstorm, write, compare notes, and roleplay in a solarpunk-themed version of the Altered Carbon universe.

Story-wise, I want to follow up with the life of Kristin Ortega two decades after the events that took place in the TV show.

In this version, she’d be wearing a non-aging sleeve fashioned after her original body, which she lost in an accident, and with a genetic age of thirty-four. All you need to know is that she works as a detective for the Bay City Peace Corps.

Ideally, all the characters live in a brighter (than the cyberpunk original material), futuristic, sex positive and somewhat safe society where most of the people have access to sleeves.

A sleeve is basically another natural or artificial—Synth—body to which people can have their Stack—an implant where all of their memories and consciousness is stored—downloaded to.

Kristin may either: still be single, live with her romantic partner Elias Ryker, and may or may not have 18 offspring. The details are up for discussion.

The main theme I want to explore is the experience of wearing a different body from your former own. This can be achieved by costuming you next sleeve, having multiples sleeves, or swapping between characters. And even modifying their current bodies.

This obviously opens all sorts of fun possibilities for debauchery, but I’d like to keep it grounded in a somewhat plausible realistic and sex positive society where the characters can still have fun.

Do most people look like ridonculously good looking supermodels? Sure, why not? Within reason, of course! Although there are movements of individuals that are all for “non-enhanced” bodies. That being said, there’s no slut shaming.

Is it normal and totally not frowned upon for people to simply show up one day in an entirely different body—and or gender—and thier acquaintances, friends and family not even blink an eye once they’ve confirmed their identity? Abso-freaking-lutely! With exceptions, most people are either bi or pansexual.

Is sexual intercourse a completely normal and common thing between consent adults? Yes, within reason. Well, it certainly isn’t it’s a nudity optional and free-use society. But, such private adult-only spaces certainly exist. Most people are, in fact, polyamorous.

A few (totally optional) scenes and ideas I’d like to include (characters involved to be discusses) are:

• Swapping bodies with your exclusive monogamous partner: being committed to a single person (for religious believes or whatever) can be very boring! What better way to spice things up during enthusiastically rough heteronormative sex than to swap bodies while flailing each other. Some couples even agree to be entitled to each other’s bodies and swap frequently to please themselves or otherwise. They say sex feels better than masturbation!

• Having multiple bodies like they were items of clothing: short, tall, flat, hung, busty, fit, etcetera! Most people have access to a sleeve (their own) or a spare (in case of accident, etc), but having more than one is almost prohibitively expensive. A lucky successful few get to have multiple versions of their body, including gender and race, or plainly several sleeves fashioned after multiple people.

• Exploring your own identity and sexuality: when you turned eighteen you knew had until the age of twenty-one before you could get your own non-medical custom made sleeve. You’ve tried it all and you’re curious whether the grass is greener on the other side. Maybe you’re tired of jerking off to orgasms as pleasurable as sneeze. Maybe you’re tired of having to climb a figurative mountain and slay a figurative yet very horny dragon with your vibrating sword to reach climax while jilling. Who knows! You’re within your right as an adult to try yet an entirely different world on your own. Maybe you’re in a relationship and that complicates things.

• Polyamory & swinging: maybe you’re in an open-long term relationship with your partner, but only in that sleeve. They probably do the same and have multiple partners while wearing a different sleeve with each one of them.

• Modifying your own body or even your partners: maybe you cannot afford another sleeve, so you have no choice but to have your own modified. The process is quick and ambulatory but it does require a visit to a dedicated centre. Maybe you want to be taller, shorter, fitter, hung-er, stronger, bustier, flatter, or even have a completely different set of genital than your own. My cousin Chad is the happiest transman I know. He literally rides his bike everywhere, ever since he got his pussy!

• Swapping bodies between friends or family members: maybe it’s seen as a sign of trust and affection, to literally entrust your body to someone else. Maybe is something close siblings do on a regular basis. Maybe it’s done by accident. Maybe your single mom is somewhat of a controlling and over possessive latin-coded MILF and enjoys borrowing your body from time to time. You may find the whole thing old-fashioned, totally patronizing, and utterly humiliating; but despite it all, let’s say you find solace in being in her body for a while one way or another.

• The Nude / Orgy / Free Use Club: college parties can get wild. You and your friends are getting ready to visit The NOFUC Club for the first time. What sleeve will you be wearing?
