“Just relax… be yourself… and most of all have fun.” Mitchel said confidently to Tanner, before brushing up his wavy brown hair and giving the actor’s stubbly cheek a friendly slap. Mitchel finally giving Tanner’s 6’0 Frame a nudge out of the doorway.
With the director’s encouragement, Tanner strode through a short white hallway before entering a large white production room. The room was empty apart from a massive bed, one that must have been custom made for the scene, and a few well-placed cameras and microphones. Atop the bed laid fluffy white sheets and a basket, right in the middle, holding an array of colored markers.
Per Mitchel’s instructions, Tanner made himself comfortable. Laying atop the mattress, he stuck out like a sore thumb in the white-washed room with his charcoal tee and a matching pair of dark pants contrasting heavily against the silky sheets. His dark brown eyes, brunette hair, and tanned skin were all apart of the aesthetic Mitchel was trying to create.
Moments passed that quickly turned into minutes. After what had to have been 30 of them, a woman appeared through the same hallway that Tanner had a half-hour before her. Her attire was substantially more on theme. A cream colored dress with two dainty straps lay over her shoulders, falling half-way down her thighs. Her face was emotionless as she took her place on the opposite side of the bed from Tanner. Certainly she was following the instructions asked of her as well.
Another 10 minutes had passed with the pair sitting idly before Mitchel’s familiar voice spoke loudly over a speaker. “Okay my dears, the cameras will begin rolling in 10, 9, 8… remember, no talking, but enjoy getting to know each other please! 3, 2, 1… action!”

(I hope you enjoyed! Hopefully it’s clear within the prompt, but I would like for us to play a pair of actors, of sorts. However, our only form of communication will be the markers between us.
I will be playing Tanner, and occasionally Mitchel, as our characters navigate this scene. The goal is to create a connection between two strangers by limiting their communication to writing and drawing on each other. Forcing each to trust the other and create a space for touch and exploration.
I’m looking for a literate and creative partner to play this out with me! I’m also happy to turn this into a longer-term RP if we mesh and our characters hit it off.
Drop me a chat or message with any questions you have, and a description of your character! I’d love to discuss a little before we start!)
