They're incredibly rare creatures, even by paranormal standards, only a few in the world. And since they are cunning, strong, and have magic so powerful it would make Merlin himself jealous, they basically do what they want, and take what they want. Which in the case of most of the greedy, scaly beasts means amassing hoards of gold and a harem of beautiful women.

And yes I do envision this as a harem story. That's part of the fun for me. If you liked the thief and the dragon part of my intro, but not the harem part, you should turn back now.
