Hi there, I’ve been thinking of a scenario for a story for a little while now and thought it may be more fun as a prompt for some role playing or as an ice breaker for some chat if someone is up for that. “Yeah no problem. Don’t worry. I’ll let you know when she’s safe and we’ve got things straightened out. Love you too. Bye.” He just got off the phone with an old friend. Her kid had “out of nowhere” turned into a flake at college, started acting all rebellious, and now rather than go back to school in the fall she hopped onto a train to a city 500 miles away. His city. That’s why she called him. Not to shoot the shit and catch up. They weren’t friendly like that anymore. But what else could he do but offer to help. He’d known this kid since she was tiny and from the sounds of it she wasn’t all that street smart - kind of a sheltered Indian-American kid with expectations that she’d be a doctor or engineer. He’d meet her train, get them some food, and make sure she had a safe place to stay and a plan. “What was she thinking?” Sure her parents had turned into nut jobs that watched Fox News. But back when they were friends in college they were as wild as anyone. James drifted off to sleep thinking about what he would say to this girl, and about her mom at her age. So that’s about where I’m at. I’m looking for someone to play either the part of the young Indian girl leaving her parents and trying to move to the city, or her mom who my character has had a thing with in the past. Are you the young college student who regrets making such a rash decision only to be relieved to have a friendly face meet you at the train station, or do you want to be a forthright adventurous girl making a life for herself?
