You are the Arisen. Your heart was stolen in battle, still beating, right from your chest and yet you live. Now on a perilous quest to get it back from the dragon who stole it and save the kingdom of Vermund, you are accompanied by I, your most loyal pawn, and two others ready to die by your command.

Sworn to the service of the Arisen by nature, pawns lack wills of their own. We look however you’d imagine and dress as you like. I aid you in battle and throw my immortal life away for you time and time again, ever eager to please my master no matter the task.

Prompt : On our magical, medieval, and rather low fantasy adventure, we encounter all manner of monster along the road: horny and immoral goblins who pillage in packs, alluring and elusive harpies with siren songs that bring men to their knees, and ferocious ogres that thirst for the flesh of a women, only to name a few. We must frequently stop and make use of taverns, Inns, and campsites when neither are available. It is during these quiet moments that all manner of mischief and misfortune may befall the Arisen.
