For better or worse, our lives tend to lack serendipity, those little unexplained and unexpected moments where we come across something wonderful, exciting, or life altering. Sadly, this often extends to our sex lives. Usually, if we’re having sex, we know what circumstances it’s likely to pop up in, who we’re likely having it with, and what we’re going to be doing. Sure, all of that might be incredibly fun and pleasurable, but it’s nonetheless predictable.

I think that’s why those serendipitous moments are so fun at their core. You’re out at the bookstore and strike up a conversation with a cute girl as you both reach for the same book and way faster than you’d have thought possible you’re testing the shocks on your car as she bounces on your cock in the backseat. A coworker you’ve never really thought of that way before says something and one thing leads to another and suddenly you’re finding every possible excuse to “organize the supply closet”. You see someone out of the context you’re used to seeing them in, a cute librarian at the beach and damn. What I’m getting at in the above is that every now and again, our luck is better than we have any reason to believe it should be. Or we see something in someone we didn’t before, someone we didn’t think we liked before maybe. You know, those sex comedy/porn type situations where the ice queen suddenly melts, or the enemies smash cut to a scene of them energetically boinking. I just love those moments when something shifts and you’re a million miles from where you’d thought you’d be in that moment. It’s thrilling.

Obviously, this is more of a chat, and I grant that’s not for everyone, but I’m hoping to find out if anyone’s had real life moments like this, where things went vastly differently than they’d anticipated and it was a happily erotic outcome.
