Hello,

In this prompt I would like to explore the type of scenario/relationship where someone is supportive and accepting of someone evil. I have always been fascinated by the girlfriends of bad men, especially when they themselves are not bad people, at least outwardly. Their loved one can maim, murder, steal and worse, and yet they at worst may scold them while they help clean up the mess and would never give them up to the law. This happens in real life, criminal/gangsters' wives, or in fiction with psychopath characters or big villains having pretty great relationships sometimes.

If you are familiar, one of the most recent examples of this that reminded me of it was the character of Mercy Graves from DC comics. The ever faithful secretary and bodyguard to one of the worst men in the world, who regularly puts it in danger, and if you like the old Justice League cartoon, also has a romantic relationship with him, of a sort.

If you are someone who thinks they can relate to this and can get inside these characters' heads, I want to talk with you. I want to hear why you think they do it an if it makes them evil as well. Perhaps even if they want to be good themselves, but they find themselves inexplicably drawn to people who do reprehensible things, and they are just made that way. The psychology behind this is one of the main things I want to write about and explore.

If you want to explore via prompt I am open to that too! Here are a few ideas;

We could go through and work out a more fantasy-based idea of the dynamic. It could be anywhere from a superhero inspired setting like I mentioned before, up to a DnD-esque adventure, or sci-fi based. Perhaps you are the acolyte of an evil warlock who enjoys the power he wields and does so selfishly, even though he is very talented and has no reason to. He could help a lot of people but chooses not to, and you are there to learn but slowly become attached to him, maybe you try and change him for the better. Or perhaps you get sucked into his habits and become an enabler. Maybe I am a colonel in some Galactic Navy/Army, commanding a large force or holding some kind of immense personal authority. I use and abuse this, both with my own personnel and to those we deal with. You could be someone like an assistant or aid-de-campe, helping me with logistics and perhaps starting to see the world in my way. We could also do the classic supervillain and sidekick sort of roles. I would prefer whatever we do we do something original, I don't like playing celebrities or popular characters. And in general I want them to be as close to us as possible.

Another sort of route would be for you to mention someone you know that you are attracted to but you know they are trash. They are a bad person, you know this wholeheartedly, yet you could see yourself with them. Who are they? Why do you think you are so attracted to them? We can play this out as a sort of RP and work a bit from there.

I prefer DMs and discord if we decide to do something longterm. I again like to keep this grounded in reality somehow and if we talk for a long time I want to get to know you outside of the RP or discussion a bit. I find it helps enhance the experience. I hope to hear from you soon.
