A record store opened up in your area not too long ago. Busy with things vastly more important than your collection, you've been unable to investigate until recently. You enter on a Sunday afternoon, to find a record store full of new and old, adorned with great decor and blasting some music. While carrying every kind of music, it certainly leans hard into alternative culture. Metal band posters line the walls, the music playing is some early Hardcore, and the cashier looks freshly out of an underground concert with a 3 person pit and 4 people attending.

"I'll be honest, you don't seem the type to listen to blackgaze." They say to the woman ahead of you in line, looking at her with oddly gentle grey eyes. Their neon green chelsea cut is hardly out of place in the shop, while the aforementioned woman surely is.

• "Black... gays? I'm not racist, if that's what you're-" The woman begins to clarify, adjusting her handbag and seeming a mix of worried and offended.

"Wuh? Oh, no. Blackgaze. Like shoegaze. It's... you'll like it. Smoke a little with it." They suggest, hoping to lighten the mood. But, the woman just tucks the record under her arm and leaves without saying much else, leaving the cashier frowning. That is, until you step up.

"Yo. You got everything you need?" They ask, staring you down. Their tone is that of relaxed friendliness, not unlike your local stoner. Their eyes, though? They seem ready to pounce, both verbally and physically. Though, their gaunt body is hardly intimidating, even if their attire and appearance is.

so, that's the gist! you meet an attractive person at the record store, nothing more to it. do you ask them out to begin with? try to impress them with your music taste? or maybe search the record store and explore a bit? whatever it is, this little shop is your oyster. until we move on, of course.
