The moment I stepped out of the shower at the company gym and saw you standing there, casually leaning against the wall behind you with your arms crossed over your chest and a devilish grin on your face I knew I was in trouble.

It was obvious that that promotion I got should have gone to you, I don’t have nearly as much experience as you have and on top of that you’ve been with the company for years more than me. To my defense it wasn’t exactly my decision; I was offered the promotion and I took it. To be fair I knew you wanted it but then again, that choice wasn’t up to me, was it?

Even before I let my eyes nervously scour the room for any help I knew I’d not find anyone. I work out after work for a reason; I like doing it by myself.
