Hi there! One of the things I like doing the most is exploring & building characters. If you're interested in talking about this one ("heidi") let me know! Not looking for RP per se, more just a chat about her, her character, what makes her tic, etc

Heidi's mom was bitter. Understandably so, to be honest. Every man in her life had been a piece of shit. Her father. Her boyfriends (she'd had a lot). Her ex husband (well, ex in the sense of "he left", they never even completed the divorce).

Full of regret about where her life had taken her. And she put all of that regret into her daughter, Heidi.

"never trust a man"

"they will take advantage of you the first chance they get"

"all men are cheaters"

"we're on our own here. just you and me baby."

And, just like her mother, Heidi had...blossomed into a spectacular looking woman (hey, there's a reason why her mom had left a string of boyfriends in her wake). 5'3'', blonde hair, cute freckled face, perky DDs, impossible waist. Heidi was the spitting image of her mom and she was a stunner.

And her mom bought her clothes. And makeup. And accessories. Living vicariously through her daughter, filling her with her regret and poisoning her with her cynicism and her bitterness.

"Never feel bad about hurting a man. They'd do the same to you."

"All men are cheats, so might as well cheat first."

"God and I gave you those attributes Heidi, you better learn how to use them"

"Men take control of women any chance they get. it's only foolish women that don't do the same"

The day that Heidi interviewed for her first job, her mother stopped her on way out the door:

"You're going to an interview wearing that? Oh no. Come here." And she'd undone an extra button on Heidi's blouse. "Now, if the secretary is a woman you button up real good but then undo it when you get to the interview. Women are jealous bitches, can't trust them either."

And although Heidi had grown to be paranoid, distrustful and cynical, her mom's advice was effective. She'd gotten the job. She did get better grades when she wore the skirts her mom had bought for her. She did have a string of boyfriends--just like her mom--except on her mom's advice she always cheated and broke up with them first.

And just like her mom predicted, women hated Heidi. The other women at her job gossiped behind her back. Every school she'd ever been to had ended up with her having a reputation.

She was lonely, and she had no friends. Not real ones.

Although Heidi's mom had tried to craft Heidi in her image, to build her into a resilient, distrustful ("realistic", she thought) woman, here was one key difference between the two of them:

Heidi's mom had become cynical, resentful, and manipulative through experience. Heartbreak. Disappointment. Damage.

Heidi had never gone through all that. And so she maintained a slight...naiveté. Her mother had planned to make a resilient daughter...really she had made a gullible one. A daughter that had learned to wear tight tops and spread her legs to get what she wanted, but...it really just got her used.

That job she got at the car dealership? The one she got wearing that unbuttoned top? I mean yeah, she got the job... but she also found herself in the passenger's seat of the owner's 7 series, bent over and sucking his married dick. And not getting much out of it either. Her mom would have gotten a raise, or cash, or a promotion. Heidi just felt this is what she had to do.

Those boyfriends that she cheated on compulsively in order to "protect herself" (and on her mother's advice!)? Some of them were actually decent guys, who saw in her a certain spark. And the guys that she cheated with? Always older, always slightly below her league (although she didn't know it) and always disrespectful.

Then again, Heidi was smart, and she got work done, and it was undeniable that women that look like her have a certain advantage in life. She was, by all measures, doing "pretty well". It's just that usually women that look like her are stuck up, and entitled, and defensive...

...and heidi...well, she was on her back more often than not. Or on her knees.

A walking 9.5/10 girl with a target on her back.

Looking for a guy to chat with and just brainstorm this character. The things she's done. The things she feels. The stuff that happens to her. Send me a reddit chat if that's you. Tell me what you like about the prompt!

Limits: absolutely no incest or anything illegal. bathroom, feet.
