It is humanity's near future. Late stage capitalism has put most of the world's power in the hands of an elite oligarchy. Seeing earth's natural resources depleting quickly, huge amounts of money are invested into a fleet of interstellar ships to build a fledgling empire of humanity throughout space.The program is a success.

The year is 2188. The 6th ever high-capacity colony ship is travelling at faster-than-light speed to a far-off planet. The ship is filled with thousands of colonists in cryosleep, waiting for the two hundred year journey to end. However, about halfway through, something goes wrong.

Something from space has gotten into the ship- a lifeform unlike anything else ever seen. Sure, humanity has identified basic life forms on nearby worlds, but this is different. It's a creature that is able to take control of the ship, manipulating its resources, damaging its systems, and exploiting its passengers.

For the first few nears, nothing is noticed. Even the ship's AI doesn't clue in. But soon things start to go wrong. Then, amidst the chaos, short circuits start happening. Passengers and crew begin to wake up early.

You are among those unlucky souls.

Who is this creature? What does it want? How will it brutally abuse and torture passengers that it captures? Time will tell.
