You know on rare occasions we do things that are so unexpected. So different from our regular selves and lives. It would surprise everyone if they come to know. And most of all, it would we would surprise ourselves.

You are someone very different than me: much older, different lives, no reason for us to have any connection.

I can be one of those once-in-a-lifetime encounters - maybe in an airport or a trip. Maybe a simple encounter in a mall. You would never do anything like it. It is not that I was your type or stood out in the crowd. But you did the unthinkable. You saw me and decided to make a proposition. Maybe with a sense of adventure or your secret bucket list. You have no expectation or hope and you dont see any harm or risk. I would surely say no and we will move on. That is what happens everyday or suppose to happen. But today is not everyday. And to both of our surprise, I am willing to try it out.

Or maybe, we have this lasting connection that does not match any of our normal lives. No one would ever imagine anything between us. People may not know we even know each other. Or if they knew we know each other, then no one would think twice about it. But for a long time we have engaged in something that none of can share with anyone else. We bring this side in each other that we both are ambivalent about. We intensely enjoy it but cannot completely embrace it. We are addicted to it but cannot admit it. We keep it private and pretend it is not happening.

I am 32f single and from Cali and new to this subreddit. Looking for getting to know each other a bit and our preferences an building an engaging and interesting story. Prefer older men in my time zone (PST) who enjoys conversation and written words.
