The basic premise of this RP would be that my parents stopped talking to me for a few years when I went away for university. It could be that they are snobs and wanted me to go to a specific school and I said no. It could be they were super religious and didn't approve of me going to a secular school, there's a million reasons, but the point is that they have largely stopped talking to me.

You are someone I met at school, and we became extremely close friends (could be roommates, but doesn't really matter). My parents have heard from some friends that apparently I've been seeing someone for a while, and out of the blue they call me and ask if I would be willing to meet with them for dinner and introduce the person they've been hearing about. I'm obviously surprised, but excited because it's a chance to maybe have my parents back in my life, something that's been painful for me for a long time.

The weekend my parents are supposed to arrive is coming up and the person I've been seeing breaks up with me. I'm terrified to tell my parents, since it seems like that's the only reason they plan to come at all. And this is where you offer to pretend. They've never met this person, I almost never post on social media, so they wouldn't really know anything about them. All you'd really have to do is hold my hand, say nice things about me, and maybe kiss me on the cheek a few times. No harm, no foul, and you know how much this weekend means to me.

That's the scenario I have in mind. I'd love you to play the close friend/roommate. Ages of characters can be anything from 20 to 30, really, since this can easily happen after we've graduated. Basically we'd play out pretending to be together, and that leading to something actually happening.

We can also discuss what our characters look like, I'm happy to make sure my character looks appealing to you, and I'm also happy to adjust the scenario if there are things about it you'd like to amend.
