The Multiverse - a collection of possibilities and realities. A vast landscape of worlds, divided from one another by the thinnest of barriers. But what is that barrier? A moment. A choice. The most insignificant of changes. It might be an X instead of a Y. A tragedy that didn't happen. Or happened to someone else.
_____ Love is a Battlefield ________
After Aphrodite attempted to overthrow Olympus through the Trojan War, the Amazons were forced to live apart from the rest of the world holding the goddess as their prisoner. Part of this was their punishment for siding with the Trojans, but there was also the practical side that the race of warrior women were more inclined to stab someone than kiss them. So the Amazons lived separated from the mortal world by the protective mist of Themyscira. Until one day it all came crashing down around them in the form of a fighter jet.
Steve Trevor landed in the seas just off of Themyscira with the only witness to the crash being the Amazonian princess, Diana. Colonel Trevor was testing a new stealth fighter when a mechanical failure turned into an engine exploding. Diana pulled him from the sinking airplane and saved his life, not knowing that the presence of a living, breathing man on the island would give Aphrodite enough of a foothold in the mortal world to make her escape.
The Amazons competed for the right to return Col Trevor to this United States that he claimed to be from. Artemis and Minerva sat out to perform their guard duties and watch over the Amazon's secret prisoner. As the cheers from the colosseum echoed through the dungeon, Minerva turned to Artemis, "Do you feel that?" She asked."Feel what?" Artemis answered. "Something...here." Minerva's hand pressed against Artemis's pelvis, just below her zoster."I - er - uhhh..." Artemis didn't understand what was happening, but since Minerva had seen Col Trevor from afar, she had secretly been communicating with Aphrodite. Minerva had no defense against Artemis's means of attacks. She tried to emulate the way the traitor's mouth slide across her nude body, but she didn't have the blessing of the goddess. She tried to match the things that Minerva's fingers were doing to her, but she had spent nights practicing this in secret. Finally, she used secreted tools that she had improvised to drive Artemis over the edge, over and over and over again until Minerva left her partner a naked, sweaty, exhausted mess for the next guard to find. She and Aphrodite would be a long way from the cursed island.
________ Assault on Precinct 69 ____________
Bryce Wayne saw the signal from her car as she was starting her evening patrol. Ever since Gordon had that thing installed, he'd been turning it on to summon the Batwoman to the GCPD rooftops from her patrol. The public was split between believing that it was just to scare criminals or a symbol for the police that they were allowed to blame any extralegal beatings on a vigilante.
Bryce found her way onto the rooftop without any issues. She challenged herself to get to the roof access without being seen. As usual, she was successful. She forced herself not to smile when Gordon jumped as she said, "Captain?"
"Christ. One of these days I'm not going to be surprised." the police captain growled. When they started working together, only a handful of people even whispered about her and Gordon was a lieutenant. Now she was a full-blown goddamn urban legend. He had benefitted a lot from trusting Bryce and this little game of hers was one of the many ways she liked to remind him that she was out of his league and so far above the law. He hated it, but it was a necessary evil.
Batwoman narrowed her eyes to scowl at Gordon. Every minute she spent on this rooftop was a minute taken away from Gotham. Gordon pinched the cherry from his cigarette. He'd finish it later. "So we've lost contact with Precinct 69...Arkham Island and units patrolling Indian Hill. Some giant ass plants have grown across the bridge so I can't send...well any additional units in. I was hoping -" Bryce had already started to walk away. "You're going to take a look at it right?" She made a gesture as if saluting without turning back around. "Thanks?"
She rappelled from the rooftop using a tool from her belt and sped off to Arkham island.
Gordon was right. The roots spanning the bridge to Arkham Island were massive and made it impossible to drive across. Batwoman would have to abandon her vehicle on this side of Gotham.

A few DC inspired prompts. These could also work with a Trapped in a Dating Sim style story where you're sucked into the story and takes the place of a character. I'm most comfortable with DC (obviously a Batman/Wonder Woman fan) but if you've any suggestions for Marvel prompts, I'm open to discussion.
