When you match someone on tinder or another hookup app, you always run the risk that their photos won’t match. Maybe they’re outdated, maybe they aren’t really them, maybe they’re just really good at photoshop. So even if you end up having a good time, you’re left with a bad taste in your mouth.
But what if you never even knew what they looked like? What if they offered you up a hotel room, unlocked, with a blindfold inside. You put it on, they join you for an amazing evening and you go on your way. No better way to feel vulnerable and get that rush of the unknown. It’s a risk for sure, but not really any more than other hookups. Your other senses as keen to their touch, to their smell, as your mind races to think about who it could be. Or maybe you try and shut those thoughts off and just live in the wild moment.
I envision a scenario that’s loosely along those lines, but if you have ideas of what it would take for you to feel comfortable I’m open. I’m mostly just trying to hit that heart racing feeling of being with someone so unknown.
