My fiancee and I had gotten into a relationship ending fight just a month before our wedding. Luckily we were able to get refunds on almost all of our deposits for the wedding.
While she was busy planning the majority of the wedding I had planned an awesome three week trip through Europe hitting a bunch of cities all throughout Europe with a few honeymoon spots like Paris sprinkled in. I'd bought all the plane tickets and reserved all the hotels weeks ago. Just one major problem, nothing was refundable, tickets, reservations nothing. Thinking at the time I'd never break up with my now ex.
Still wanting to go on the trip I go onto dating apps where it's my belief that it's basically just a bunch of hook up apps and essentially I explained the situation in my profile. Instead of taking my now ex on this romantic trip I wanted to bring a woman who would be interested in going with me on this practically free trip.
Just one catch though these are "hookup" apps so I made my expectations clear that if you want to go you'd have to put out like you were my brand new bride. So match with me if you're interested and I edited at the bottom of my explanation that I was open to negotiating the kind and frequency of sex and my only requests were to be between the ages of 18 and 50 and I don't care about race or religion.
Now I just had to wait and hope that some matches would come my way.
