When we'd met, our lives had been really different. You had been in pastry school and I'd been working on an MBA that I didn't actually want. Parental pressure can be a lot. We'd had a mutual friend who'd introduced us with the age old "Oh you're both gay! You'll get along!" As much as we'd wanted to resist such a small-minded setup, they'd been annoyingly right. We'd been together what felt like every moment since.
But our relationship hadn't been perfect. We'd struggled for a long time to find our purpose and work that would make us both happy. There had been moments where it felt like we were on the rocks. That was, until we'd decided to leave New York.
I'd always wanted to own a little business, and you'd always wanted to make food for a living. I'd joked that we should leave for New England and open a B&B. I'd manage the money, you'd cook the dinner, and we'd live our cottage core dreams together. I'd been joking - you hadn't.
That was three years ago, and we were as happy as could be. We boarded five rooms at a time, and gave people experiences with nature and our new home that we were proud of every day. It was everything I had ever hoped for!
Hi! Today I'm looking for a partner to write a sweet, gay story! Our characters are a mid/late 20s couple who have left the big city to run a B&B together. Mine is the business side, yours is the chef. I want to write slice of life scenes: getting distracted because you're making pancakes in a sports bra, a snowy night by the fire, hosting a Christmas party for our guests, anything!
I'm pretty vanilla as far as sexy stuff goes, and I'm really just looking for someone who wants to write something sweet, kind, and sapphic with me!
