I sat in the back of a nearly empty library. I had only ever seen it filled with eager students, but i had also never been here close to midnight. My weary eyes glazed over the page of the obnoxiously large textbook. How could I have waited this long to start prepping for this final I thought to myself as the dread of the approaching test began to take hold. My thoughts began to spiral, contemplating what would happen if I failed and didn't graduate. The embarrassment my family would feel, the wasted tuition money, all the time I had spent at this school for nothing.
I shake my head and bring myself back to the moment. I take a long look at the textbook, it's words seeming to taunt me. I need to get my head right if I'm going to pull this off I think to myself. I reach for my cup of coffee and take a sip, almost spitting it all over the page as the cold, stale liquid touches my tongue. How long had I been here I wondered. I stood up to go get a fresh energy drink. As I do, my eyes lock onto a girl sitting alone across the room. I see the same look on her face as I have on mine. She looks familiar, before it dawns on me that she's in my class. Knowing I need to change something about my studying, I pick up my book and walk over. As I approach I summon as much courage as I can
"Umm... hi, are you getting ready for the history final tomorrow?" I ask quietly.
Hi DPP!
I'm spending the day studying for a big exam, and am looking for somebody to help me relieve some stress! I have two ideas to do that! One, we can chat about experiences with classmates, at school, or while studying! Or, we could roleplay something along the lines of the prompt above, or something else study/school related if you'd prefer, think student/professor type of deal. If this interests you, I'd love to hear from you
