Frank layed prone under the cammo net ontop of his bunker, rifle scope focused on the net trap swinging from the tree and the young woman in it. Through the scope he could see she was unarmed, malnourished and surprisingly calm for being 20 feet in the air in a net, when moments ago she was following a worn path through the forest.
Frank grumbled, sure he had enough supplies to sustain a small unit for years, but he had grown accustomed to the life of solitude, where he thrived surviving on his grit and hardwork not depending on others. It was always like that he was a lone wolf, well he was more comfortable as a lonewolf, he had been Army special forces years before the event. He purchased the old bunker and spent years stocking it, making it a getaway home. He had his share of visitors over the last few years, some hostile some just looking to trade, but none stayed too long and none ever came in his bunker.
"Ah shit..." Frank muttered under his breath, "she's kinda cute." She was infact cute, she had been downright hot before she began to starve. Her hair was now matted her face gaunt making her eyes look even bigger. "I reckon I should go down there free her and give her some food eh boy?" Frank talked to his constant companion his old hunting dog a big blood hound he named Ole red.
In this RP I'd like to play a gruff and experienced loner who is thriving in the end of the world setting. The woman currently swinging from the tree in a net we can discuss her background, I'm thinking she isn't as prepared to survive long term, but there is something about her and she finds out she has a skill, maybe something Frank sorely lacks. Maybe she's a great cook able to whip up what seems like gourmet meals from rations and scavenged plants, maybe she is great at companionship making the older grizzled vet feel more human? Maybe it's something else entirely.
