Post Body

This is not for the feint of heart, nor for the passive writer. This is an invitation into the darkest corners of our minds, the uncharted waters you dare not tread, the parts of yourself that you'd rather not share with even the most trusted partners and friends. The fantasies you wouldn't even tell to you therapist (though you probably should).

I'll share a list of basic concepts, but I'd prefer to discuss details together to find your perfect match. What's more important to me than the details of the story and setting is being compatible about certain themes and writing focuses. To be perfectly blunt, while this is X rated horror, the emphasis is on the horror. Smut will be present, including softer smut for character building and plot, but largely the smut will be in service to the horror rather than the horror in service to the smut, which is an important concept to understand. However many kinks can crossover into fun plot/horror devices, and depending on the pace can work as hardcore smut that builds into hardcore horror in ways I appreciate, so there's room for both.

My intention isn't to give you wet dreams, but rather wet nightmares. So as we choose our scene, bear in mind that I seek not only the ideas that arouse you, but the ones that tap into your genuine, real life fears. My ultimate goal isn't just to make our characters, but to make you, the writer on the other end, have thoughts that keep you awake late into the night.

With that in mind, important concepts and possibilities:

-For most of my writing, gore and violence are valuable tools. I can write violence without gore, and horror without either, but they are useful, and the fewer limits you have the more room I have to make you squirm. That said, I won't be writing a Saw film where shocking gore is the only element. Creeping tension and eerieness is still the priority, it's just nice for me to have a...vivid payoff.

-While I can certainly tailor scenes for 1on1 plots, I find it useful in many scenes to have a group to work with, to show characters what they have to fear as it happens to their companions. And the interpersonal relationships of a group as they are taken apart is a fun part of writing horror for me, and allows for more dimensional characters. We can share control, I can GM around your 'main' or you can write the group, or anything in between. And again, solo stories are certainly an option if it's a strong preference of yours.

  • supernatural elements are a wonderful option, with the caveat that they take place squarely in the 'normal human' realm. Monsters and magic work better in service of horror when they are unexpected parts of a world rather than understood ones, in my opinion. That said, there is plenty of horror to be created by humans alone (including the illusion of the supernatural, potentially through hallucination themes)

  • your character/group can be of any background, both in demographics and intentions. Helpless victims are always and option, but investigators, saviors, glory seekers, and more can make for fascinating plots. Who knows, perhaps one of you might even survive...

  • a concept I've wanted to play with is partnering with a fellow 'bad guy', either from the start or one who becomes corrupted as we go, but only seek this if you're truly inspired by the idea and willing to go an extra mile with your writing. If just a passing interest, stick with another option.

  • the final note is that I expect a good deal of detail from writing partners. Plot and action I can easily share or carry largely on my own end, but what makes writing horror with a partner desirable is your ability to to share the inner mind of your character(s) as we go. Their emotions, reactions, their descent into fear and/or madness, their corruption, and the visceral physical reactions to skin crawling situations are what I need from you. If your writing style is to add one or two lines of action with nothing internal, or simply repeat back what I've said with little added, look elsewhere. An ideal trait for some scenes is an ability to put yourself in your character's shoes, to feel what they would feel, and then describe it, rather than writing what you'd expect a character to do/feel, if that makes sense

Still with me? Let's discuss possibilities, plots, kinks and limits, writing preferences, characters, and most importantly fears
