I want to play a pretty realistic scene here where I hook up from someone I knew back in the day. We probably went to high school together and haven't seen or thought about each other in years. Maybe one or both of us are married now, if you're into that.
The way that I imagine this scene going is that we randomly bump into each other somewhere and get to chatting. One of us reveals to the other "you may not have known this, but I had a big crush on you back in the day," not even necessarily meaning anything by it now or trying to be flirtatious. And it may not lead to us hooking up immediately, but once the seed has been planted, it's inevitable where this will end up.
The key to me for this scene is that we're both playing realistic, well-rounded characters, not caricatures. I wasn't a bullied loser or genius nerd or dumb jock. You weren't an alpha bitch or school slut or invisible wallflower. Sure, there can be elements of some stereotypes in our backstory, but we were both real people in high school (regardless of how we saw each other), and we still are. I imagine we were friendly acquaintances who knew each other, but don't have a dramatic past together. Neither of us bullied the other or obsessed about the other or anything like that.
That having been said, there are lots of different ways we could have grown into who we are now. It's fine if life didn't go as expected for one or both of us, in either a good ways or bad ways. Maybe one of us is a celebrity or rich, or maybe one of us is surprisingly poor or unhappy now. Or maybe we're just regular boring suburbanites.
Generally speaking, I want to keep this pretty light and fun; I'm not looking for anything dark or extreme.
