Myth's and their stories often have a underlying meaning or hidden truth embedded within their origins. Staying under her blankets would've been the wisest choice but being the noisy brat that Kali very much was, she wanted to go see what the hell was going on topside... it just turns out the napkin she stepped on wanted to see the party too.
