Good Morning,

My name is Jay and I am from the UK, looking for a partner on a similar timezone however that's not a deal-breaker, if you like my idea and are happy to make a timezone difference work I'm happy to go forwards!

I've been roleplaying for over a decade, I'm 26 years old and I write in first or third person. I tend to write 1 to 5 paragraphs per post and roleplay either in messages here or via discord, discord preferred. If this suits you please feel free to read the idea below, if not have a lovely day!

The Idea:

First off this can be a low fantasy or a high fantasy world, I'd like it to be immersive and be realistic within it's own confines. I have no interest in setting this story on earth. I would like it to be similar to the 11th-13th century but this is not a requirement. I'd like us to build this world together and build a story together.

I'm happy for this story to be as lighthearted or as dark as we want it to be.

I'm also happy to play a main character each with side characters or for me to GM/DM for the characters/world around yours.

So. A world at war, a large continent with a variety of biomes and landscapes to spice things up a bit. Four kingdoms all at odds with a bloody war raging over territories, viable land and a resource known as Bleak. Bleak is a dark liquid that is found in Bleak Wells, a naturally occuring pool of thick, dark liquid that depending on the high fantasy/low fantasy route we choose has a number of enhancing or magical properties.

The story would start with two kingdoms joining together after suffering heavy losses. This is where our characters meet, one from each of the kingdoms previously at war with each other, creating that initial tension, distrust and dislike between each other. These characters will either be knights, soldiers, nobles or royals....or a mix....or whatever youike this is just an idea. Arranged marriage has seemed popular in the past so if that's your thing I'm happy to go with that too.

They spend months together, moving with their army, holding a stronghold or out on a battlefield, trust forms but the dislike does not disappear. Then following a deadly event of unknown origin the pair are pushed together and forced to rely even more so on each other. Romance starts to blossom,betrayal between kingdoms, political intrigue and violence follow.

Just an overarching idea, happy to tweak and interested to see where it goes.
