The skiffs came without warning, circling and closing the island like a school of sharks scenting blood. Those in the beach thought nothing of the encroaching intruders: as far as they are concerned they were all part of the festivities...

...until the sound of gunshots rang.

Those along the beach ran, scrambling for safety among the riotous, oblivious crowd that huddled around the stage; calling out to friends or drawing attention. But the concert raged on, and so did its half-drunk and stoned audience: sun-tanned young men and women dancing and drinking and having the time of their lives.

With the island surrounded the uninvited guests started beaching their skiffs.

Then all hell broke loose.

Scrawny, tattered-clothed men toting machine guns stormed the beach, their tired bloodshot eyes scanning the crowd. Over the shrill clarion of the chaos they barked orders, punctuated by warning shots from their guns. "Down! All of you -- down, now!" one of them spat, training his nozzle threateningly.

So much for the weekend getaway of the year...

Hey there! Hoping to find a partner to flesh this one one out. Imagine if the Fyre festival launched successfully -- only to be gatecrashed by pirates later on. I am looking to explore what happens afterwards: how are the captives planning to deal with the intruders?

Ideally this would be a long term exchange, focusing on the ordeals your character(s) will face on this ill-fated weekend.
