Hello, male character seeking anyone interested in playing a female AI/android type character! I am looking for like minded people to explore a bit of a sci-fi epic that focuses on the growing relationship between a man and his virtual (...for now?) companion. Very much open to your thoughts. Allow me to demonstrate with a little bit of a blurb just to get thoughts going and for you to understand what I sorta picture!

Circa 2350. Space is cold, lonely, distant, and endless. Yet with no shortage of cosmic horror, it provides us with infinite opportunity for discovery -- sometimes much more closer than we think.

Just right outside the Milky Way galaxy... courtesy of FTL transport from the Sunflower galaxy's hyperdrive outpost. A man lounges back in the captain's seat in the bow of his small, but respectable mining ship. An adept material miner and processor who is always looking for interesting adventures to make a healthy amount of credits. At this speed, it's at least less than 24 hours back to new Earth.

Carrying around 30 tons of Purple Chrysalis, a fantastically efficient energy resource and also great for refining into beautiful vanity gems, he was fixing to make a great profit with this haul he had recently mined.

"Captain, a bit of a status update. I have recalculated and projected a new route avoiding nearby asteroid clusters. We're looking at 18 hours to new Earth!" A gentle, calm, and feminine voice echoes out to the ship, directly to him lounging away.

Thanking the kind voice, he breathed out a gentle sigh and grinned to himself. "The California Central Depot better take all of it this time..."

"Hey, I don't mind if we have some left over!" The gentle voice chirps again. "I have always found the color and refractive pattern of Purple Chrysalis... really relaxing and interesting."

He chuckles. "Can you really ever be relaxed when I'm running this ship?"

"Like I said... I really don't mind if we have some left over..." she jokingly quips, letting out a playful sigh that almost had some humanity to it.

A little bit of silence. The ambience of the ship and the engine takes over, a meditative hum.

I was having way too much fun writing that! Anyway, this was kind of what I am trying to go for with this roleplay. All completely up for discussion, of course, and I purposely left some things ambiguous (i.e. the name of the AI, her potential appearance, etc) to make sure it's clear that her character is yours to "flesh out" as you please, along with the entirety of the universe!

So yeah, as stated previously, I would like to possibly explore a sci-fi space epic primarily focused on a guy who owns a small space ship, alongside his trusty AI companion who assists him with ship maintenance, galaxy mapping and routing, the latest news and information, and much more. I envision him being an expert in and making career out of space material processing and transportation between planets, satellite research centers, and other points of interest.

I'd like to play this character, with you playing the female AI with a friendly, cordial, perhaps programmed and learned sense of humor, one who ends up growing very close to my character. Or other personality traits that would make it fun for you. The idea of an AI program catching "feelings" and vice versa is really interesting to me and I'd love to explore and play around with it further.

Also, I would really like it if there was a heavy focus on story, plot development, and world building here. Don't get me wrong -- I totally want smut and I'm sure you do too, railing artificially intelligent pussy is always a treat (and what an assortment of words), but I'd love it if someone was just as invested in building something cool with me here.

Of course, I'm sure she can have a physical human-like form and appearance as well, and I was actually thinking that could definitely be a plot point of its own in the RP to look at. Perhaps they talk about what she pictured herself looking like if she were actually real and physical, and maybe when they get to Earth or somewhere else, they see what they can do to make it happen using her data stored on his ship. When I think about this stuff, I'm taking inspiration from characters like Cortana from Halo or EDI from Mass Effect and others that are similar, just to give you an idea of my thought process. Her name and appearance are totally open to your own imagination. Same goes for my character!

So yeah, that's the main idea! We can explore themes like space, general sci-fi, romance between different "types" (i.e. in this case, Human/AI), slice of life, artificial intelligence in general, future tech, maybe some action? Just throwing stuff out there and leaving it open to discuss some more.
