It's been 3 weeks since Kara was found by Frank. It was a cold and rainy night that brought the two of them together. Frank was leaving his office after working late, Kara was trying to find a cozy little over hang to sleep under.

Kara had ran away from some midwestern town, away from the abusive step father and the mother who was oblivious to Kara's suffering. She made it to LA hitching rides, dangerous for a cute 18 year old but she had a dream of the ocean and becoming an actress. With very little skills Kara soon found that she was not cut out for California life but was determined not to go back home. She had been homeless for months by the time she met Frank, she was malnourished, grimey and had quite frankly was in bad shape.

Frank on the other hand was successful, he owned and ran his own technology firm, building it from the ground up to a billion dollar company. He was in his mid 40's but in good shape still thanks to his expensive personal trainer and a well managed diet. Frank never had time for dating or marraige so he had been a life long bachelor, something that he was not too upset about, he enjoyed his freedom and the ability to leave on a trip on a moments notice.

While driving back to his mansion on the beach he noticed Kara huddled and shaking from the cold, her perch under the awning of a store did litttle to protect her from the elements. Pulling over Frank rolled down the window of his luxurious sports car and hollered out "Looks like you could use a place to stay and a nice meal, why don't you hop in and I'll get you both."

Kara didn't hesitate he seemed nice and her stomach rumbled from the lack of food that day. She happily hopped in. "I'm Kara!" She said with a smile. Frank turned on the seat warmer and heater for her. "Nice to meet you Kara, I'm Frank."
