Today a celebrity is striking out in her comfortable SUV for a two plus week road trip!

It’s hot and sticky in LA, it’s crowded and noisy in NYC, and the allure of a beach resort just isn’t inspiring enough for her this time of year, so she’s loaded up her vehicle and plans to hit a few locations a few days apart, and has hotels or air BnBs booked in those destinations, but what she does and where she goes in between are unplanned.

She might spend a particularly warm day at a water park or poolside at a mediocre hotel. She might attend a fair or check out some small town celebrations here and there. That portion of the trip started off fine, clear skies, smooth highways and good music on the radio, but quickly turned to disaster, when a storm rolled in seemingly out of nowhere and made driving less pleasant, if not unsafe, so they pulled into a motel on the highway, detailing their plans to see a certain sight that afternoon. The place was barely even occupied, so a couple of rooms were easy to come by, and overall it was a nice break in the driving, leaving them with some idle time to discuss a plan for the next day…
