Lithe was in an unusual predicament. Her current mission was to collect the golden orb located in the lowest room in the forbidden Trigadette Castle, one that has stood for over a thousand years. Its tall spires rose into the mist above her, appearing as if it was endless in height.

She was wearing light armour, enough to move in, and a wide array of weapons and magical artifacts on her legs. Women in this world were used for subtle combat- assassinations, retrievals, search and rescue, and more. Each citizen had a duty, and could rise up in the military ranks as much as they desired. Lithe was incredibly determined to rise up in the ranks, to be important, to feel valued. Perhaps it was her orphan past, but she wanted to belong.

She knew that she only had two days to retrieve this item, and the castle was so big, she could not waste a single moment. Each hallway could be trapped with ancient curses, and it took a trained eye to maneuver through it safely. However, as she peered up into the castle, she kept staring at a flickering light, high in the sky. It changed colours, and glowed bright green, then blue, then white.Something within her itched to investigate it. Some deep need within her. No one has lived in this castle knowingly for over a century, and yet here was something in the bedrooms above.

She licked her lips and then moved forward. She would quickly find out what this anomaly was, and then go to the dungeons to acquire the orb. The problem was, Lithe had a terrible habit of getting herself into bad situations, and always managed to get out through sheer luck. Hopefully her luck would remain strong today.
