I took a deep breath of fresh air, warm sun heating my skin as I entered into a small meadow. The sounds of the forest around me reminded me not to be relaxed. Walking to the center of the clearing there stood an old stump of wood a few mushrooms growing out of the base the target of my little journey. I was an alchemist by trade and these little mushrooms were worth coming so deep into the woods for.

Kneeling down I started to inspect my prize carefully gathering them while unknowingly being inspected myself. My first and only warning would be a musk in the air and the shifting of the wind. A force knocked be over from behind caught off guard I was unable to stop what happened next.

Hours later….

I felt my body numbly being dragged through the forest floor. Seed still dripping from my used holes. My hands weakly clawed at the earth to stop myself only to be pulled away with a growl. I had come to the forest to bring home a prize instead I had become one.
