You had last seen Richard a decade ago. You had gone to high school and then college together. You thought you had been close. He was a good guy, a nice guy. Sporty when younger and then diligent at studying. He had some success with women, never seemed alone. Yet there was always a side to him you never got to see. He never invited you to his place and was always vague about anything he did when you weren’t around.

Unfortunately out of college you had drifted apart quickly and eventually lost touch. You heard through a mutual friend that he had quit his job and moved away. No one seemed to know where he was or what he was doing. You kind of forgot about him.

So it was a massive surprise when you received an email from him out of the blue. He was back in town apparently and reconnecting with old friends. He was interested in whether you wanted to have dinner together. Of course you did.

The restaurant was a tiny little Italian place. Easy to find each other you thought. When you stepped inside most other customers seemed busy with each other. Maybe you were early?

A tall woman with red hair, a leopard print blouse over some very large breasts, a short black leather skirt, fishnets and heels, along with too much makeup and large dangling earrings, stood up from a table in the corner.

“Hey! So good of you to come!” She beamed, her voice deep.

“Surprise? It is me! Come and have a seat!” She held out her hand.
