My wife and your mother are friends. When you would babysit for our children you and I would talk briefly but I never thought much of it.

The last time you were home from college though I realized how cute you had become. I gave you a ride home and got the sense you might be noticing me too. Nothing happened though. You leaned over and just gave me an awkward hug as you left.

Turns out you had been noticing me a lot. You had developed a fantasy, wondering if you could get me to cheat on my wife. You have always admired her, you thought she was very pretty. So it felt like a challenge. And you had a particular plan in mind…

You are home from college for the summer I hear knocking on my door. I am home alone, my wife and children have gone to her parents for the weekend. You apologize, say you must have gotten the days mixed up. Then you ask if you could come in. I am a little suspicious of your story. It seems unlikely you’d get the days mixed up. But I don’t mind the company.

Inside you are immediately more flirtatious. Asking if I liked your outfit. And then talking about my wife, how lucky I am, how pretty you think she is. And then you start joking about our sex life, saying I must have a hard time keeping my hands off her. Then you ask if maybe I was bored being with the same woman for so long. Maybe I wanted someone new? someone younger? I try to laugh it off, but you keep pushing…

And then, you go a step,further. “How would you like it if I let you do whatever you want with me? If I let you rape me?”

I don’t know how to respond. So you continue... “Anything you want, I won’t tell anyone, you just have to take it…”

Too stunned to speak I simply I nod, and you reply “good. I’m going to be in your bedroom.. see you there”
