Still the Father could see she was not quite certain of what he meant, so he took full breath, and turned slightly more towards her, lowering his eyes to spare her his gaze "Would it be that you find your mind recounting sights and sounds of your sin?" He asked, "Do you see then, my dear? Your flesh then dampens... and then you seek to sate it again. It is the seed of evil. The soul can only be redeemed, if both the heart is penitent... and the body is pure."

The formality that encompasses everything, in sharp contrast to what the High Priest and his confessant would be engaging in.

There is no manipulative or deceptive themes here, this would be a genuine, powerful and cathartic experience for both the Father and the woman he's aiding. A process that is both sanctioned and sacred, where he is but an instrument of heavenly mercy.
