I was driving through a dense, forested highway... the distant smell of rivers and a lake in the air when the fog rolled in from the tree line, slowly. Traffic was already sparse, and the fog made it seem like I was the only person on the road. Still... it wouldn't last for long, the sun just had to blast it away. Or at least, that is what I kept telling myself. After several miles of these conditions, I heard the radio station that I was listening to begin to blast static... and I leaned over to turn it down before a sudden figure in the road appeared. Swerving like mad to avoid it, I found myself breaking past the siding of the road, my last thoughts before I crashed being... just how big was that deer?

Eventually, I found myself waking up, head banged up, but I was alive. Slowly pulling myself out of my vehicle... I quick looked in the trunk for an emergency kit before moving forward, away from the cliff I found myself at the bottom of. I had to find help... and there seemed to be a somewhat worn, dirt path nearby. Maybe this would lead somewhere...? Clutching my banged up head, I began to follow the path through the forest, the haunting atmosphere and fog filling me with dread. I had to find help... but could I even find anything in this god forsaken fog?
