Sitting on the rock gazing at my reflection in the pond, out the outskirts of the only home he had ever really known, one thought played on repeat in his mind.

It wasn't supposed to be this way.

Vel'klin, affectionately called Velk or even Vic, was a wood elf like so many others in The Great Wood. He grew up in tune with the natural world and even the elders marveled at his affinity with the living essence of things. It came as a surprise to no one when the druids selected him for training. How he excelled at base magic - cultivating crops, healing with herbs and potions, negotiating with the creatures of the Wood to help foster the symbiotic relationship that would ensure prosperity.

Shortly after he reached adulthood it was determined that Vel'klin was ready to take the next shape in his druidic journey. It was time for him to skinchange and find his true self therein. The other apprentices gathered and one by one they performed the ritual. Bears, wolves, moose, even a large raptor. One by one they ascended until it was his turn.

Vel'klin sang the song of the earth and wilds, of sky and water. And as the change took his body a discordant chord rang out, met almost instantly with gasps from the gathered masses of his people. A primal need overcame him in this form, which he did not know, and everything changed before going black.

He awoke in a bed only to see his parents who hurriedly explained the situation. As it turns out his mother was not a wood elf, but rather a blood elf warlock who had accidentally had dalliances with three demons before meeting his father. Turns out the demonic price was coming due as the curse was carried in his very blood. It was then that they explained he had changed into a terrible chimera. The thing had the body of a wolf and a matching head. It had leathery dragon wings and a tail to go with the left most skull. The center head accounted for the bulk of Vel'klin's chimera form as it was one of a bull.

When asked what happened between the change and this moment, well, his father turned red with flush. His mother explained that he had mounted the eldest daughter of the highest elder and rutted her. And the daughter had enjoyed it thoroughly - so thoroughly that she was waiting out the place where Vel'klin was being held. This...did not sit right with the elders and so they were coming to expel him from their clade.

Which is, of course, exactly what happened. Cast out from home over the rather animated protests from some of the women, Vel'klin found himself on his own for the first time. He still could touch the songs of the esrth but they sang back with the raw primal urges of nature as opposed to the harmonies he had grown up hearing.

It wasn't supposed to be this way.

Another thought, in that same discordant chord, chimed in his head.

But this isn't so bad, right?

As the reflection changed and stared back with three distinct grins.

Hello there! Our noble elf druid is nothing of the sort and is instead cursed - blessed? - with some daemonic energies. This of course causes quite the internal conflict as he is still in tune with the natural world, albeit now with its more primal energies and needs. So much need.

So who are you? Another outcast from the world of elves? A follower of the demon sent to bring Vel'klin into the fold? Or someone else entirely? Looking for a good mixture of plot and smut and Reddit PMs are my preferred method of communication. For this play looking to play up the primal nature of things and if my partner enjoys the chimera form, well, I'm not opposed.
