The world had changed over the past several decades. Where once global warming had been a major concern and guns were an issue in many countries, now the true problem was food. The plague had hit the entire world, and while it hadn’t attacked the humans it had attacked the crops. The food shortages started small, with prices rising slowly at first and then skyrocketing as the issue became more widely known. Soon people were actually dying of hunger in first world countries, and the populations around the world had diminished, leading to what was left of the world today.

In the present, those who had wealth, lived in the sky communities, the giant towers that reached up past the clouds. At their base, they were roughly twenty blocks wide and thirty blocks long. They were massive structures protected by massive gates and a security force that was more brutal than protective, at least to outsiders.

I was one of the lucky ones, having been born into a wealthy family, I had risen through the ranks of the elite into a position of power and money. I lived in one of the penthouses of what was colloquially called “Food City” due to no shortages of said product within the confines of its walls. The top ten percent of the remaining population lived within the walls of Food City, and I was one of its major players being the head of one of the top departments. I lived the life of luxury, unlike most who still struggled in the outside world.

That was the setting, as it were, to describe who I was and the power that I held within my little society. That was what I put at risk when I saw the small what I thought was a child, far down below as my hover car moved through the air.

“Siri, what is that in that alley down there?” I asked, voice interested but bored.

“That appears to be a young human female. Her current health and life signs indicate that she is near death, harshly malnourished and likely to pass before the sun rises. Shall I report her to the eradication squad?” The whimsical female voice said cheerfully, oblivious to what it had just suggested. I watched the woman below fascinated as she crawled along the alley, moving so slowly.

“No, take me lower and hover over her.” I instructed the voice program and watched as what was far below began to grow closer.

“This is a dangerous area Mr. Cargin, it is unwise to exit the protection of the armored vehicle in this area without a full security detail.” The car chirped, its tone still jovial. I watched the small girl below and when I first caught the hint of her red hair beneath the dirt and grime, my breath caught in my throat. She looked up to see the car as it hovered there, and I saw a beautiful face there. She wasn’t a child at all but a young woman.

“Set the car down, Siri, record my location for possible security extraction if needed.” I advised the automated car reacted as instructed. As soon as the car set down I jumped out, knowing that this was a bad idea, and shuffled across to the young woman, looking down at her, wanting to reach out to touch her gorgeous hair. I had never seen a redhead before, and it had been so long since that hair color had been seen naturally.

“Warning, Mr. Cargin, several individuals have noticed the air car’s landing and are making their way towards us. I detect several firearms among their numbers.” With a curse, and with little time to think, I scoop you up, lifting you into my arms and running back to the car, and setting you down on the seat next to me. This was such a bad idea.

“This course of action is ill advised. She is not tested or-“

“Mute yourself, Siri.” I said as I looked at you, still fascinated with you. You were short, much shorter than my own height and you had a cute face and your breasts were almost visible in the tattered shirt that you wore.

“Listen closely.” I say to you as the car lifts into the air, the sound of bullets ricocheting from the armor plating mere dull tangs inside. “You are my daughter. You were living in the Asian Super Center and I left to pick you up. My name is Michael Cargin. You must remember this, or security will take you away and likely have you executed.”

Was this the right thing to do? I didn’t know, it had all been on a whim. I was putting myself in danger also. But, I couldn’t help it. You would need to be my long lost daughter for now.

So as the title suggests, looking for someone to play this young woman whom i save and who will need to pretend to be my daughter. I see this as a DDLG story with lots of sexual tension along with a story of love developing over time as we explore this different type of apocolyptic world.
