Buzzzzt. My fingers fly immediately to my phone, and I swipe up. Family Groupchat: hey, who changed the wifi again... I roll my eyes, and turn over my phone again. The waitress passes by my table, and I shoot her another little smile and a shrug. I told her fifteen minutes ago that I was waiting for someone - you, incidentally - and I am just about ready to give up and go home...
And then the doors swing open, and the wind gushes in, and in sweeps... you. My shoulders relax, and I smile more genuinely. Finally! I flip my phone over quickly to jab a message to my friend - it's on! - before I look up at you as you approach the table, and stand up to greet you - and give a little start as my eyes angle ever so slightly upwards to meet yours. They fly back down to your feet - nope, flats. And they climb back up, laboriously, to settle on your amused grin.
Ah. This is new. "Oh, hi," I say, "I uh, I didn't realise you were taller than me..."
Hi folks! I am looking to play out a dynamic between a shorter guy and a taller girl. I am not really looking for giantess/extreme fantasy heights, but something a lot more "normal" than that! If you are interested, here are a couple of possible scenarios to start us off. But feel free to also suggest your own!
The Tinder Mismatch: A tale as old as time itself - a man pretends to be taller than he is on the internet, and a woman pretends to be shorter. The texting goes well and flirting ensues, but what happens when they meet up? Embarrassment, awkwardness... and some attraction?
The Winds of Change: Memory is a funny thing, and you can often be tricked into imagining that the people you used to know stayed more or less the same as when you last saw them. But when this couple meet for the first time since they were kids, it's evident that one's been growing just a bit more than the other!
Resistance: A guy who is, like many guys, less than thrilled when a woman is taller than he is. So it's going to be a real chore when he has to spend time with a tall gal and show her around... or will things go better than he imagines? He may yet acquire a new way of seeing things...
The Blind Date: Pretty self-explanatory, and very simple, in case that's the sort of thing you want!
I'm very open to hearing other ideas that fit as well, or just chatting about this dynamic! Come hit me up! :)
