One of the girls winces as I fling my canned energy drink against the far locker and it rips open, splattering all over at least two sets of gear. My lip curls into a sneer - exactly the intended effect.
"Furious!" I bellow, furiously, "I'm furious! What the fuck were you thinking? Huh?! Oh, you weren't thinking, WERE you! That's the problem with you bimbos, what the fuck are you even doing here? Huh? HUH? Why are you here? If you can't stay focused for ONE game, why are you here? All that sweat, all that work, and for THIS?"
My yells ricochet into the showers behind me, and one of your teammates lets out an impatient sigh. None of this is new. Most of you have heard this exact spiel before. Sometimes, even after a victory! You see, I'm from a generation of coaches who earnestly believes that you always need to be pushed, and the best way to do it is by telling you you're not good enough. If you think you're doing well, even slightly okay - you're being complacent. And you don't get to be an athlete by being complacent!
"NONE of you covered yourself in glory - GLORY! Forget about glory. I'm disgusted. When are you going to stop being such pussies huh? HUH? YOU! I'm talking to YOU!"
But with a modern athlete... perhaps this approach doesn't always work. Perhaps it goes too far?

So, I'm looking to play a scene in which a hardass coach (of a sport of your choice) finally gets his ass handed to him by an exasperated athlete. There are a whole bunch of ways this could go! Perhaps you wait for your teammates to leave and have a firm one-on-one with me. Perhaps you snap and yell back at me right in front of them. Maybe you get the whole team in on the act. Or perhaps you wait, and plot, and only during the next training session, when my guard is down, you challenge me to an innocent little duel?
