Hey there! So today, I’m posting this looking for a DC roleplay. As with any comics universe, it’s an expansive world filled with far too many options for me to ever get them all down in one prompt - but I plan to touch on a few possibilities we could pursue and if there’s something not written here you might like to explore that seems in my ballpark, let me know.

Before getting into it: I am open to playing as cis or trans women, exclusively play submissive characters, only play in Reddit DMs, and heavily prefer third person. These prompts aren’t written from the point of view of me or you as the given character, but more general. I am also not interested in OCs at all. Canon only.

Wonder Woman: Playing off the film version, Diana has spent the last hundred years or so in our world. For much of that, superheroes were something out of the public eye. The last few years though, that was all changing. There had been something of an explosion of superheroes cropping up everywhere. However, with this explosion came a lot of young, new heroes who maybe aren’t too familiar with what they’re doing.

Having been at this under the radar for some time now, Diana had a lot more experience than these newcomers - arguably more than any human, for that matter. Not one to rest on her laurels, she made a point to help the new heroes whenever she could. But there was one hero that was different. Rather than just a bit of help now and then, Diana saw something in this one - and has taken them under her wing as a protege of sorts. The question is which superhero Diana finds herself mentoring, and how that mentorship relationship changes into something more. But no matter who and how, the chemistry between them is too electric for either to deny.

Batgirl: Barbara Gordon has been Batgirl for a few years now, having just finished college and no longer stuck juggling that aspect of her dual identity. However, that isn’t the biggest shakeup her life is going through. Over the years, she’s fought practically every criminal the city has to offer, whether costumed or otherwise. But there was something different about one of them.

It had started like a lot of Barbara’s nights, with her breaking into some abandoned building that had been turned into a villain’s temporary lair while they enacted their newest plan to take over the city or poison the water supply or whatever they were up to this week. But something was different this time. A different energy as they did the old routine of her getting caught, roped up and having to escape. One of them broke the tension first and suddenly Batgirl was sleeping with a costumed villains.

There was always something electric about taboos and this was no exception. It had started only a few weeks ago, still new to the both of them as they figure out how to navigate... whatever this is. Shameful fuckbuddies? Genuinely romantic connection? Or shall the villain corrupt her?

Dreamer: Taking advantage of her short life in the comics so far is a possibility I find really tantalizing. There are a lot of options on where she might go as someone who’s still pretty new to this and establishing herself. While the expected direction to go would be Metropolis, it could be fun to drop her into somewhere like Gotham or elsewhere. Whatever city it is though, she’d start a new life we get to play out ourselves.

With a new city comes new friends and enemies, whether she finds herself meeting up with Superman in Metropolis, Batgirl in Gotham City, or even a villain like Deathstroke, there’s a whole slate of possible options for who she might pair well with.

But one possibility that sticks out to me is, with moving to whatever new city she ends up in, Nia ends up needing a roommate. By the magic of coincidence, her roommate also happens to don a costume of their own - whether they’re a hero or a villain. Neither knows the identity of the other at the outset, sneaking around each other and trying to hide, to keep their identities a secret until something finally gives. If they’re both heroes, maybe some team ups, growing closer, a cute and rather wholesome relationship.

On the other hand, if they’re a villain, things start getting complicated. As they’ve been roommates, they’ve grown to like each other. Maybe even more than just platonically. But now, learning they’re on opposite sides of conflicts and maybe even encountered each other and fought in the field, they have to deal with the complicated feelings that come with this development.

As mentioned, these are just a few possibilities. I’m open to so much more, featuring characters mentioned below, some I’m no doubt forgetting, and different situations with the three above. Maybe you like an element of one prompt but might be more interested in it with a different character, I like to think I’m very flexible.
