Instead proposing that one of their young prince’s marries into the Rizenbul family so that when king Ralnor passes, their prince will ascend to the throne. Thus, peacefully absorbing all of Rizenbul into their Dynasty with no bloodshed. With no other options, Ralnor reluctantly accepts this offering to spare the rest of his people’s lives.

However, his strong-willed daughter refuses to sit idly by as the bastards that slaughtered her people become their rulers. At one point she was forced to flee while her family members, and soldiers of the royal guard, were burnt at the stake by Klestarians. It was then that she decided that she would more readily die than submit to them.

Having met the prince she’s to become betrothed to, she recognizes that he’s weak of heart and can easily be mentally broken by her. So, she devises a devious plan. Being that he’s now in her kingdom, and the loyalty of the guards and staff belong to her, she can really do whatever she wants to him behind the scenes. So, aside from public appearances, she’ll lock him away in her dungeon and torment him day and night until he’s but a shell of a man groveling at her feet. A perfect little puppet that she can use to destroy the Klestarian’s from within.
