Elizabeth gazed out her window and into the front yard. The tall, thick maple cast a long shadow across the manicured lawn. To the left, the wild growth of the forest edge competed for every inch of ground. Her landscapers knew it well. The sun was just beginning to set, casting shades of red and orange across the sky. She caught a glimpse of a gray squirrel chewing on an acorn it had gathered before it was startled away by the sound of an oncoming car. This end of the street rarely saw traffic.

The old Nissan quickly drew her attention as she watched it slowly roll down the end of the road and past the front of the home. It turned slowly in the street, parking along side the curb. She could see the girl looking around. She gave a small wave, hoping the girl would see as her other hand clasped her tea mug. It was time to meet her newest patient. It was only a short walk to the door and she nearly walked into it as she watched the girl walk towards the house. She couldn't help but admire the subtle curves and feminine features as she walked.
