When Green’s House opened, it took the town by storm. Green’s House plant store focused on house plants of all kinds and the selection there was second to none. All of the plants in the store were in excellent condition and priced for the common person too!

The Green’s, a young married couple, propagated all their own plants and handpicked their stock from wholesalers. The Green’s wanted all the plants they ever sold to be the best. A part of that was offering to replant, inspect, and propagate any plant they sell anytime the owner needs it down. They were truly a full service plant store and their care of plants and customers was obvious by how busy the store stayed.

Every Saturday morning was the restoring day and there was usually a line out the door of people waiting before they opened at 9 to see what they got on Friday. It really started to become a tradition. But you knew a secret, Thursday afternoon was the day they started to get new plants, usually after the closed at 5 but sometimes before too.

Mr Green was always good about locking the door exactly at 5 but today he forgot when he flipped the sign to close and him and the Mrs got to work caring for their plants in their special way. You don’t notice the time and just tried the door, it was open so you walked in and to your shock, you saw how they were able to have such beautiful plants…
