Ok. So today's idea is similar to but different from my regular ideas I'm offering a rare treat of a prompt.
It's a fantasy story, using DND 5e for sort of loose rules of the world and such. Ideally I'll find someone that's willing to share the load of world design and NPCs and such.
But here we go.
The Far Lands. Called such due to the massive distance between themselves and the next nearest bit of civilization. Home to many different races, and advanced technology including airships, steam engines, and primitive factories, they've long been isolationist.
That Changed when a Mana engine was cursed, utilizing the previously innocuous device to tear open a hole in reality between the Astral and physical planes.
Evil spirits poured forth, and try as they might, the Far Lands slowly but surely began to fall.
Only their prince (or princess) managed to escape into the thousands of acres of woodland, with the evil influence following, spreading like a plague.
Many weeks pass, and the royal makes their way to the rest of the known world, where their own troubles are brewing.
Coming to a small border town, they meet a cervidtaur (centaur, but a deer instead of a horse.) Farmer, who agrees to take them in and bring them before the town council.
The taur's daughter however? She takes interest in the stranger, and then the two's adventure truly begins!
Please please DM me, and put some thought and effort into your first message. I'd really like this to go long term, and high detail. Thank you!
