As far as replies length go I prefer Quality over Quantity. There’s no word count here, there are no expectation just “Does my reply move the scene forward or not” and “Is this a good time to express my inner thoughts and desires or not.” Sometimes a scene needs setting and that requires longer descriptions, sometimes it’s that part of the RP where dialogue is quick and snappy as we banter back and forth. There are times that call for paragraphs and there are times that call for sentences. Obviously nobody wants to feel like they’re putting in more effort than another, I’ve dropped partners for replying with what came across as very minimal effort, but if you’re a good writer you’ll know how to balance your responses.
