Growing up in a single parent household is never ideal, but you did your best. Whether working two jobs to provide, or making sure that I didn’t stray from the traditional Christian upbringing, you always made time to do the right thing. It had been difficult not having a male role model to guide me and teach me about all the things I needed to learn as a young man but you did your best using the Bible and church to lead me.

Likewise I struggled, socially I was what most would call a good person, I played sports, and made sure to graduate with great grades. But as far as my luck with the ladies I didn’t have any skill. I didn’t let it get me down, I still shot my shots and like always came home disappointed. We had always taken comfort in one another with these things as you hadn’t dated either, preferring to focus on raising me.

But behind closed doors, things are beginning to change. I’ve taken to making more literal translations of scriptures. Telling you what you can and shouldn’t wear, as well as how to act and behave.
