A dedicated husband, loving father, and passionate theologian has his entire life upended after a wild weekend in his adopted daughter's college town. During Parent's Week, his daughter enacts a sinister plot, to unravel her father's marriage.

The last six months have been an absolute whirlwind of events. From touring the country to promote my new theology book Show Thyself Approved, to being sworn in as pastor at East Okland Missionary Baptist Church, to seeing my daughter off to college; it's been stressful. Through it all, my wife had been extremely supportive and I don't know what I'd do without having such an amazing woman in my life.

I need a break. To unwind and relax before life heats back up again. My wife and I will be visiting our daughter up in Boulder for Parent's Week. Maybe we could even go mountain climbing, or rock climbing, or visit all of the dive bars our daughter keeps raving about.It'll be nice for the entire family to spend time together…
