Have your forefathers ever told you stories of this vast, mystical world? Some say that there are tiny, mystical creatures hidden under the leaves of the forest floor. Others say there are invisible voices carried through the wind. There’s no doubt that sailors have always entertained the scary tales of fearsome sea beats lurking in the depths, sometimes coming up just mere feet below the waves! Yet the tales that entice the most interest from you seem to be the tales of other worlds. There are many, many, many, many myths and legends about Hell, and the portals that lead to it.

Some say the Gates to Hell are within the deepest pools of the swampland, buried under murky water darker than any seas. Others say it’s within quicksand, which keeps pulling you down until you reach the fiery underworld. Some people even believe the mouths of vicious creatures that cause the bravest men to tremble have Hell tucked behind their teeth. Yet there are some more interested legends that actually speak of lands one would actually want to go to. Cities of Gold? Lost, underwater civilizations? Or more importantly… the Sky Kingdoms.

Some say that when the skies are cast by the thickest clouds, shrouding over the lands and blocking out the sun, it’s no ordinary cloud formation. No, not just a storm brewing… rumor has it that it’s actually a cloud which houses a hidden kingdom on top of it, way up high and out of the reach of humans. Birds sing and call to everyone about the sky kingdoms, but they can’t actually be understood because of their songs and inability to speak in the human tongue. It’s a legend that has a lot of wonder, with many people claiming all sorts of tall tales about the sky kingdoms. Some claim that heroes in times of old visited there, or that Storm Giants are really living there and sending down all manner of rain and lightning.

These myths and legends have spun many legends throughout time, and in particular there’s always the crazy old people who believe in it. Some people claim to have used special sails on their tiny vessel to fly up to it. Others claim it’s real because a gold coin fell from the sky, a symbol of the tiny piece of the wealth that they must have up there. There’s even rumors about people who shouted about giants from above casting large shadows atop the land, visible only from high peaks down onto low valleys in a very particular set of circumstances.

Do you believe the legends, just like your old late grandfather used to tell you? Well, as fortune would have it, he did keep one old memento in his personal effects that you now inherited. In your measly life, you would never hope to find any grand kingdoms or any adventure for that matter, but your father had a tiny pouch that he claimed housed mighty, magical seeds. These seeds, supposedly stolen from heroes in ancient times, were actually seeds from the giants’ kingdoms. If planted, these seeds would immediately sprout into a tall beanstalk, a column that’d reach the sky and all the while producing plants that’d be so large they could feed a village a hundred times over.

Was it real or not? They seemed like they were fake, but your sentiment to his stories was real. In honor of him, you buried him with those lovely seeds, fulfilling his last wish. That is, until one fateful night when the clouds passed overhead… the seeds immediately sprouted, and began growing. It grew, and grew, and grew, and grew until it pierced the sky with its amazing figure. It was very thick, spanning so high and having vines and platforms thick enough to walk upon. It seemed pretty thin compared to how tall it was, yet its roots were stronger than the Earth itself; it’d never fall from the wind itself. What’s more was that it went up above the clouds, as if it was just begging to be climbed. The Tower of Babel could not be complete, yet this beanstalk right here grew and pierced the heavens above.

Speaking of the heavens above, it just so happened that a certain resident of the Cloud Kingdom stomped overhead. Her cloud did not move, hindered by something as she stepped and created a cascading of thunder in the large, heaping cloud below her.

“Fee, Fi, Fo, Fu-WUAAAH-!”

THUD!

Crashing down with a thud, she groaned as she turned to see what her foot tripped on. A strange plant - could be a weed. She could have sworn it had not been there yesterday.

Thank you for reading this prompt, and as you can clearly tell I’m looking for a smutty reimagining of the tale loosely based on Jack and the Beanstalk, with some other influences thrown in for fun. I’d love to add some humor to this, with you being any person who ventures up the beanstalk. Oh, and we can discuss ideas and things you want to change; I tried to leave your character and backstory vague but if you’d like to change it or just have you come across the beanstalk, that’s fine too.
